Conditions for Car Hire / Car Rental in Cyprus
These Terms &
Conditions for Rental cars are designed for your own safety.
We have
carefully thought about them to make sure we will be able to
provide the right service to you, our client.

Driving License:
Drivers must be in possession of a valid
national or international drivers license (which has been held for a
minimum of one year) and a valid passport. Minimum rental age is 23
years old. Payment: Car rental hire charges are payable in advance by cash or credit card. Personal cheques are not accepted. A valid credit card must be presented irrespective of payment method. So for example, if you pay by cash you still need to present a valid credit card upon signing the rental agreement.
Parking and Traffic fines: They are clients responsibility. Once upon a time parking tickets were not issued very often to rental or hire cars, as the traffic wardens knew it was too much trouble to enforce, this has changed since we joined the European Union. You will be chased, so please pay them before you leave.
Fuel: Fuel is not included and is paid by the car renter in advance. Unless you choose the full tank option where you may purchase a full tank of fuel at slightly preferential rates.
Deliveries and/or
Collections: Outside
city limits, they are charged at 9 Euros each way. We deliver free to
most hotels. Larnaca and Paphos airports are no longer free. So fly drive service
is ?20 per rental to/from either airport.
Additional Driver:
May obtain the right to drive
the vehicle at an extra charge of 2.56 Euros per day per
additional driver (maximum additional drivers is two).
Unauthorized drivers are not covered by any insurance scheme
and the driver and renter will be responsible for any
damages caused to either the vehicle and passengers or third
party vehicles and property.
One day Rentals: For 1 day rental there is an additional charge of ?25 on the corresponding 2-6 day rate.
Extension of Rental: Should you wish to extend your rental term beyond the agreed date of termination, it is important that the company is informed immediately so that insurance coverage is extended and to make sure that the car is still available for that period.
Cars: Reservations are only accepted by car group and not by car model. Specific car models are subject to availability at the time of rental. We will try to deliver the car you specify, however please be aware that this is not always possible and is not guaranteed.
Insurance: We include comprehensive insurance and collision damage waiver (CDW) in our car rental agreements (Unless otherwise specified). Please see the Cyprus car hire insurance explanation page for details of further insurance you may wish to purchase.
Extras: You may reserve (in
advance) booster seats and roof racks at the daily rate.
North of Cyprus: You may drive to the North of Cyprus through the border at your own risk. You will need to buy extra insurance at the border, but be aware, you will not be covered by the insurance cover from the South, and if you have a problem, it will be your responsibility to return the car, undamaged, to us. We cannot come over there to help you.
Complaints: If you have a problem of any nature with your car, please inform us immediately, do not wait until you get home and then write to us telling us about a faulty indicator and demanding a refund, it will not happen. Just let us know on 24 665408 which is open 24/7 and we will take care of it ASAP. We do not want you to have to complain, ever.
Please note: ALL INSURANCES EXCLUDE DAMAGE CAUSED BY DRIVING ON ANY LOOSE SURFACE ROADS, (OFF ROAD DRIVING) ANY DAMAGE CAUSED WILL BE THE CLIENTS RESPONSIBILITY.
