Motorbike hire is provided as a
service to our clients, we do not have the bikes in our
possession and we advise you to check such things as lights,
brakes, indicators etc on taking delivery of your bike. Take a
picture please.
Insurance
All the rental agreements include third party insurance as required by Cyprus law.
You are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle up to
the amount of the excess shown on the rental agreement.
These excesses are hefty. Please check when booking to make sure
you can afford them.
Fuel
Petrol or diesel is to be paid on pickup of the bike. The amount
is generally a full tank at standard pump prices. Unused fuel
is not refundable.
Drivers Age
Minimum of 17 years and maximum of 70
years. Except for buggies and quad bikes which require minimum
age of 18 years.
Licence
50cc & 100cc scooters can be driven with an International or
National Drivers licence.
If you have a provisional License at 17 years old you are
allowed a 50cc scooter but no passengers.
At 18 years old you are allowed up to 125cc scooter or 150cc ATV
and no passengers.
Motorbikes 50 - 300cc
300cc motorbikes or scooters are allowed to travel all over the
island
All other vehicles are only to be used Ayia Napa/ Protaras/
Sotira/ Dherynia/ Famagusta area.
Passengers
Children under 12 may not be carried on/in any vehicle,
Traffic Fines
Any
traffic fines incurred during the rental period are your responsibility.
Helmets
Provided free for all bikes.
Lights
Lights must be on at all times for
all vehicles. Day or night.
Payment
A Deposit
is required at time of booking and the balance is payable by
cash or credit card when
collecting the motorcycle.
A hefty deposit may be required on some
vehicles.
V.A.T (sales tax)
Is included in the prices.
